Major in college: Bio-Anthropology, minors in Education and Social Justice
Favorite pump up jam: Relax or Get Murked
Tell an embarrassing story: I couldn’t draw a clock for my neurologist and he was incredibly upset
- I was on the unicycle team from the 3rd-5th grade.
- I love vinegar like a lot….
- My feet are slightly shaped differently
Who is your Ultimate role model? too many to say!
How many raccoons could you take on at once? ummm I well I would actually befriend a raccoon! I would have them teach me how to cook. Perhaps go into my little chef hat and teach me the artistry. If not??? Probs 11 (on a good day)
What’s your biggest pet peeve? slow walkers
What is your most irrational fear? fruit flies
Tell me something your parents don’t know about you: that I put diesel gas in my car (my younger brother knows) but the auto shop fixed it!!!
Favorite tournament/practice food: cucumber but fermented
Social Media Bio:
Our next rookie left Seattle to live the #EastCoastBeastCoast life. Watch out for her slicing blades, huge hucks and crazy footblocks (we know you saw that video). Samiya is the reason we constantly listen to Relax or Get Murked and we wouldn’t have it any other way. She loves to eat cucumbers at practice (but only if fermented) and hates slow walkers. Once her neurologist asked her to draw an analog clock and she couldn’t #GenZ. One more fun fact: she knows how to unicycle and was on a team in elementary school! Brute Squad is proud to present #11 Samiya Ismail!
